Asian International Mobility for Students (AIMS)

The Asian International Mobility for Students (AIMS) program, formally known as Malaysia-Indonesia-Thailand (M-I-T) Student Mobility Pilot Project, aims to create a vibrant student mobility program for citizens of all SEAMEO member countries. Following the success of the pilot project, it is now being turned into a fully-fledged Asian program. Additional Asian nations are now invited to join and collectively develop the AIMS program.

In 2016, Republic of Korea joined the program. As of now, Kangwon National University(KNU) has made AIMS partnership with seven universities abroad.

KNU, one of the major national universities in Korea, is currently in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) of Malaysia, BINUS University of Indonesia, Kasetsart University (KU) of Thailand, Foreign Trade University (FTU) and National Economics University (NEU) of Vietnam, and Universiti Burnei Darussalam (UBD) of Brunei.
